Pipe: H = Δp/(ρg) + Δz; H = (1 + ΣK + fL/D)v²/(2g); Q = Av. The ideal comparison uses v = √(2gH), with no friction or fittings. Darcy f = 64/Re below Re 2000, Swamee–Jain above 4000, and a smooth interpolation between. Transition estimates are uncertain.
Rectangular: Q = Cd (2/3)b√(2g)h3/2. V-notch: Q = Cd (8/15)tan(θ/2)√(2g)h5/2. Ideal weir flow uses Cd = 1. Density cancels from these gravity-flow equations; viscosity and temperature do not directly correct weir discharge.
Water density and viscosity use linear interpolation of approximate 10 °C table values from 0–90 °C near atmospheric pressure. Custom liquid properties must be supplied at the entered temperature. No gas, non-Newtonian, boiling, cavitation, partially full pipe, or pump-curve model. Estimates for comparison, not a calibrated meter or design certification.
